Doug Harwood

DougHarwoodDoug Harwood is a native to Prescott, Arizona, and a Granite Mountain Hotshot Alumni.

He was employed with the Prescott National Forest Service from 2000 to 2004 on Engines 30 and 31, and a Prescott Hotshot Crewmember.

When the City of Prescott created their own Hand Crew he was offered a Squad Boss position in the Wildland Division of the Prescott Fire Department. He was a Wildland Firefighter with the City of Prescott’s Granite Mountain Interagency Hotshot Crew from 2004 until he was offered a position on the city’s Structure Division in 2007.

During his time on the structure engines he was also able to fill positions with the Granite Mountain Hotshot Crew because of his knowledge, experience, and training as a Wildland Firefighter. 

He currently serves the city of Prescott in the Prescott Fire Department as an Engineer, Technical Rescue Technician, and Paramedic.
